First, we need a reality check: we can’t really “target” tummy fat over any other kind of fat. The body doesn’t work that way. You have body fat – fat that covers your entire body. You can increase overall body fat, or reduce overall body fat. Fat stores SEEM to be primarily genetic (although there is debate over this). 5 Steps To Lose Belly Fat Quickly
Step 1: Eat Right
Stop eating crap. You know what I’m talking about – the soda, the desserts, the chips, the beer. Look, I love those things as much as the next person, but the fact is you don’t very many people with great abs guzzling soda and chomping chips.
Clean up your diet. Avoid alcohol. Don’t eat empty calories. Focus on protein and fat consumption. Don’t eat deep-fried anything. Have a vegetable and fruit at every meal. Give your body the nutrition it needs to build a body you can be proud of.
Cut your calories down to 1000 – 1200 per day. You will lose weight at this caloric intake, especially when we add activity to the routine

Step 2 – Eat Frequently
There is much debate, but we have concluded that the evidence has shown, time and again, that eating more frequent, smaller meals is healthier than eating fewer, larger meals. You don’t get the huge insulin swings, and it boost your metabolism. Plus, you never get that bloated feeling after stuffing your face to full. It also gives your body nutrients frequently, throughout the day, versus dumping nutrition into your body a couple times per day.
Step 3 – Add Exercise That Burns Fat
Are you lazy? Are you allergic to the gym? We understand, we’re not gym rats by any means. Our recommendation is that you simply focus on doing the best exercises for losing weight. Just doing these three exercises, you can burn MASSIVE calories and turn your metabolism into a fat-burning furnace. These exercises are not easy (that’s the whole point) but they are extremely efficient, and will promote overall strength development.
Don’t worry about getting some fancy gym membership and logging hours on a treadmill. The best exercises for losing weight will take you no more than twenty minutes to knock out, and you’ll be good to go.
Step 4 – Rest Well
Most people don’t get enough sleep. 8 hours, minimum. If you’re doing steps 1-3, you WILL need more sleep, as your body will be undergoing some serious changes.
Make sure you rest well – recovery is as important as exercise.
Step 5 – Add Accountability
